Dr. Yue-Teh Jang  General Manager
Dr. Jang spent the last 13 years as general partner of The Vertical Group and has more than 30 years of experience in various executive positions in the healthcare industry. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Embol-X, Ensure Medical, Integrated Vascular System, and Kyphon. Prior to that time, Dr. Jang was vice-president for corporate R&D at Boston Scientific, vice-president for R&D at Cardiovascular Imaging Systems, a project manager with Mallinckrodt Medical, and a scientist with Deseret Medical. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Inphenix, Tricorntech, iXensor, and Somnics. Dr. Jang received a B.S. in Materials Science from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Utah.
Dr. Yi-Ju Chen  Vice President
Dr. Chen has been highly involved in various functions since Company inception, and now is the special assistant to CEO as well as the spokesperson of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, she was the Vice President of iD Innovation and Portfolio Manager of Hotung Venture Capital Group, together she gained 15 years of investment experiences in a broad spectrum of ICT, automobile, biopharmaceutical, medtech, digital health platform, distribution business across the regions of USA and Greater China. Dr. Chen earned her B.S. degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University, and D.Phil. degree in Biochemistry from University of Oxford.
Dr. Shuling Cheng  VP of Research and Development
Dr. Cheng is an entrepreneur for biomedical field and a scientist by training with extensive research and commercialization experiences including product development, production, quality affairs, regulatory and licensing. She was the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of NeoDiagnostic Labs and OncoHealth which developed the core technologies in HPV E6E7 biomarkers for cervical cancers with 10 issued and 10 pending patents in US and worldwide. Previously, Dr. Cheng held leading research positions within the Division of Diagnostics at ThermoFisher and DiscoveRx. She received her B.S. from National Chung-Hsing University, PhD in Plant Pathology from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), and her post-doctoral training in Pathology at UIUC and Hematology at Stanford University.
Ms. Elisa Huang  VP of Finance and Administration
Ms. Huang joined the Company as the group controller and now oversees the Company's finance and administration, accounting, human resources, legal, and information systems. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Huang was responsible for finance and administration roles in XinChen Ventures, a biopharmaceutical venture fund. Previously, she was an analyst of Yuanta Securities Investment Consulting, and later became a business analyst of Nokia Taiwan. Ms. Huang had served various positions in the assurance department of PricewaterhouseCoopers Taiwan before she moved into the industry. Ms. Huang received her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Soochow University, Taiwan.
Ms. Greta Chang  Director of Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Chang led a variety of functions for regulatory, quality and reliability responsibilities for customer satisfaction, product reliability and quality business practices in various medical device companies including Health & Life (TSE ticker: 1781), GaleMed, Bioteq (TSE ticker: 4107) and the healthcare division of Lite-On IT (TSE ticker: 8008). Previously, she was the lead auditor of medical device business unit in TUV Rheinland Taiwan. Ms. Chang received her bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University.
Dr. Jenny Chen  Senior Manager of Corporate Development
Dr. Chen is responsible for business development including new project assessment and business partnering for outbound licensing. Prior to this role, she was the portfolio manager of YFY Biotech Management, a healthcare venture fund, for deal sourcing and portfolio management. Previously, she was an application scientist in BioDiscovery, California and followed by a leadership role of the business development function across the healthcare divisions of ITRI, Taiwan. Dr. Chen holds a BS degree in Medical Technology from National Taiwan University, a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from UC Davis, and an MBA from Rady School of Management, UC San Diego.
